AutoQuotes UK increases design focus and unveils CAD and Revit® content creation services

AutoQuotes UK has added a new service to its portfolio of products and solutions with the introduction of CAD and Revit® content creation services for manufacturers.

The content creation service gives manufacturers the edge they need by allowing them to present a richer data footprint in the AQ Catalogue and in turn, provide their customers the added benefit of highly standardised, configurable and accessible BIM and CAD information. All AQ design content is compatible with industry standards and is fully integrated into the AQ Design Solutions process. This new service supports AQ’s content-forward approach as the industry’s most comprehensive data resource available to catering industry professionals.

Expanding on its current design tool, the content creation service is a natural progression as AQ prepares to launch the 2020 version of its AQ Design Solutions suite later this year. The suite will include the new AQ Designer Plug-In for AutoDesk® Revit®. This commitment to design is another step to provide increased efficiency and value for AQ subscribers that integrates the design process into the quotation workflow.

AQ’s U.K. Managing Director, Rob Gibson, said: “AutoQuotes boasts the UK’s widest foodservice network, with over 260 distributors subscribed to our software generating over £5 million in quotations every day. For those looking to grow business in the Public Sector, it is required that tenders are BIM compliant, which is why our creation service is so vital. It saves time and money when producing quotes and eliminates the need to look at ‘add-on solutions’ from other businesses.”

Rob added: “AutoQuotes UK is committed to ensuring our software allows manufacturers and distributors to work as productively as possible – our CAD and Revit creation service is just another way we aim to achieve this.”

The content creation service also signifies further unification with its U.S.-based parent company, AutoQuotes, following a rebrand of CaterQuotes to become AutoQuotes UK in early July.
